Once upon a time there were people who sat at the dinner table, prayed and ate a dinner they cooked themselves. In today’s society we rarely have the time or abilities to enjoy this kind of quality time amongst food and family.

For breakfast we have six flavors of Organic Yogurt, lots of Smooooothies for lunch, and yummy pudding to sweeten the evening. Why we use Agave to sweeten our products

A-what-e? Agave (uh-GAH-vay) is a succulent plant native to dry, hilly areas of Mexico. The heart of the plant contains a sweet, sticky nectar that is about 90% natural fructose. Recently, this nectar has become popular as a low-glycemic alternative to table sugar. “Low-glycemic” means it does not affect blood sugar levels in the drastic way refined sugar does, making it very useful to diabetics and others watching their sugar intake.

We love it because a little goes a long way, it’s a healthy choice, and it tastes fantastic in our products.

Agave is NOT a calorie free chemical that tricks your tongue into believing it’s eating sugar. Agave is a hip and healthful, plant-based food that nourishes and comforts, with less impact on your blood sugar levels.
