Family Dining

” We did not have much growing up back on the farm in Iowa, but we sat down at the dinner table dang near every night, all nine of us kids. Uncle Frank and I always got to the table first so we had first dibs on the Beef Roast.”

Great Grampa Potter

Once upon a time there were people who sat at the dinner table, prayed and ate a dinner they cooked themselves. In today’s society we rarely have the time or abilities to enjoy this kind of quality time amongst food and family.

Not only do we enjoy dinner at the table with our 8 kids, we encourage you and your family to sit down and relax Potter Family Organics style. You may not have the time to cook a seven course meal, so we make it easier for you.

For breakfast we have six flavors of Organic Yogurt, lots of Smooooothies for lunch, and yummy pudding to sweeten the evening. Throughout the day,  add a little Organic Creamer to your coffee or teas. And here’s more good news: most of our products are low or non-fat, and all are sweetened with healthful, all natural agave nectar, which is easier on the blood sugar.

Whether you are hanging out with twenty cousins for a cookout or grabbing a quick bite to eat before you go out to herd the sheep, Potter Family Farms has something good and healthy to feed your belly.

Thanks for feeding your family POTTER FAMILY ORGANICS  Dairy products!!ge 7

Meet Travis, Jr. (and his chocolate chip cookies)

Hi, I’m Travis Potter, Jr. and I’m 12 years old. Here’s a little about me:

I am a 4-H club member, I raise and Show sheep. I won Reserve Champion Ram with Brutus at the Sacramento County Fair. I also won 4-H Champion Junior Showman, Champion Novice showman and 8th place in Round Robin. (Master Showmanship).

I love to make Chocolate Chip Cookies.

This is the Best Chocolate Chip Recipe ever. It is my Mom’s, but I make it better.

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • Cream together 1 cup of real organic butter with 2 cups of unrefined sugar.
  • Add in 3 free range organic eggs and 1 tbsp. of real vanilla. Mix it all up until creamy.
  • Next add in 3 cups of unbleached organic flour (mix in 1 cup at a time to make the cookies extra soft) and 1 tsp. of baking soda and 1 tsp. sea salt.
  • Mix well, then here is the best part…add the chocolate chips!
  • Drop on a cookie sheet however big you want to make them, bake for 8-10 minutes depending on if you want them well done or med-rare.
  • For super yumminess eat then hot and fresh…enjoy!
